Trevor Mauch and Patrick Riddle Private Money Bluprint Launch – Pre-Launch 4/21: Launch 5/7
It’s kinda crazy when I look back at how JVupdate started back in December ‘08 (just a few months back)… and how much of a following it’s drawn in our industry. There’s over 190 REI marketers/gurus/etc. now in the group (almost every big name in REI is a member… there are a few “big dogs” that I’m going after to join up)… and it’s already been directly responsible for nearly six figures in EXTRA revenues for our members (it’s only been 2 and a half months).
Kinda cool if you ask me 
But… I’m pretty darn excited about this post… well… because frankly I’m pretty biased on this one… and you won’t be disappointed.
I’m not going to throw out claims that “this is the best course ever!“… or “it’s going to be the biggest launch EVER!“… etc. It’s going to be solid… but not the biggest ever… and frankly it seems like there’s a new “best course ever” coming out every week nowadays (a lot of them are REALLY GOOD… some suck… us JVupdaters create just QUALITY products though… right?).
My approach is to do all I can to create the highest value and quality product humanly possible… to be honest and keep my integrity through the whole process… and let the course we release do the talking. Just from the students who’ve seen it… they’re blown away and I can tell you there truly isn’t anything on the market that takes this take on Getting Private Money… guaranteed.
Anyhow… enough blabbing… onto the launch update!

The When:
- Launch Dates: Trevor (I’ll be talking in the 3rd person the rest of this post
has set pre-launch to start on 4/31 and open the doors on the product on 5/07.
The Who:
- Trevor Mauch of www.theREIbrain.com, JVupdate.com, and privatemoneyblueprint.com. And Patrick Riddle (a full-time investor) of Palmetto Property Solutions and www.mustknowinvesting.com
- Other contributors include fellow JVupdater Susan Lassiter-Lyons of www.theinvestorinsights.com, and a top national SEC attorney (disclosed in the program). Susan has recruited over $24 million in private money over the last 6 years for her own deals and her clients… she’s the real deal.
Patrick and I met back in mid 2008… he was a full-time investor in South Carolina (and has been for 6 years… he’s known no other career)… and after a several month “courting” period (that sounds weird…) I delved into his real estate business and found that he’s the real deal… and has recruited over $6 million in private money in 5 years… turning that into almost $3 million in cash and equity in his pocket. He’s down to earth, honest… and has a great story that will resonate with the market.
The What:
The product for the launch is the full and enhanced “home study” version of our 8 week online Private Money Blueprint coaching program we did a pilot launch of back in November ‘08 which sold out to our internal list and a few JV’s within 2 days at a price point of $900 (in hindsight we could have easily charged $1200).
One of our students was able to recruit a bit over $600k in private money within 3 weeks after the program ended using what he learned… he said that will translate into approx. $200k in profits in the next 8 months alone. There are some great results based testimonials from the original group of 20 students we took on as well.
Here’s what the MAIN Home Study course is…
- 236 page 6 Module (not big font double spaced… this is single spaced… packed w/ step by step instruction) home study manual
- 4 full color “Blueprint” process maps on specific areas of getting private money (we’re hoping to add another 1-2 blueprints before launch)
- 6 weekly action plans (specific time based action plans after each module)

- Free 30 minute 1 on 1 coaching w/ Patrick
- Unlimited access to the online members area where all of the course content and downloads are available for download (including MP3 of the course audios) if they’d rather sit at their computer to learn… and we update the area w/ new video tutorials from member questions.
- … and more unadvertised bonuses that they’ll get via online and USPS mailed packages after they purchase
We’re having an upsell for a more hands on coaching package with Patrick which will include weekly Q&A for 4 weeks after they get the course, group coaching calls once a week for 2 months, and 2 personal 1 on 1 coaching sessions w/ Patrick and ongoing email coaching for a year.

Then, we’re doing a “launch within a launch” and upselling all of the students to our private money recruiting websites made with Wordpress (these things rock) that we’ve been using in our own businesses recently. Those will be from $25-$49 a month depending on the package.
After the launch dies down we’re going to go into a “downsell launch” where we sell all of the non buyers into the Private Money Getting websites (also buyer and seller websites are part of the package w/ squeeze pages)… so about a week after the initial launch there will be a 2nd wave of sales. Kinda cool huh?
The How (how you make money that is):
First… we’ll have the JV partner page up early April where “it’ll all go down”… we’ll get that link to ya when it’s ready.
As far as how the heck you walk away with FREE MONEY FOREVER is pretty cut and dry.
- You’ll get 50% commissions on main course, Private Money Monthly continuity, and the upsell… those alone will convert like mad and we’re going to be doing some cool high value stuff with the members to keep the stick rates high.
- On all of the Private Money website upgrades (which will be high because we’re doing case study based marketing using the sites… frankly… they kick butt… give results… and the people using them swear by them now)… on those sales it’ll be an ongoing 20% of revenues (which isn’t huge per customer)… but the stick rate on these is going to be outrageous… so you’ll be getting checks this time next year for most of your customers who sign up for these sites.
We brought in one of the top launch guys from OUTSIDE of the REI space to manage the launch. He’s good friends with Jeff and John Walker and is a damn good marketer… his name is Chris Brisson and he’s worked w/ a ton of big name marketers in the IM industry… great dude. This thing will be done right… you can count on it.
Prizes... once we get the launch blog up and rolling you’ll see the launch prizes. We’re not going to be able to compete w/ the Dodge Charger (Jeff, you really raised the bar with that one… that rocked!)… but there’s going to be some rockin’ goodies up for grabs throughout the launch… if any of you are golfers I’m thinking about something really cool for ya (let me know how many golfers there are out there…).
All in all guys and gals… the one aspect that we believe in more than anything is to put out an EXTREMELY HIGH VALUE product and not cut any corners, pour a ton of effort into customer service and keeping the stick rate high as heck… and to have fun during the whole darn process.
